La pratica educativa e la riflessione pedagogica al tempo del terrorismo globale: alcune considerazioni preliminari

Terrorism in history was always a local phenomenon, related to specific social and political events. Starting from the beginning of the XXI century it became global, especially after its radicalization in a pseudo-religious key. This provoked a sense of uncertainty and fear, in the Western societies, posing some pedagogical questions not always treated with the due attention, for example how to react to the tragic events happened, both in situation and at distance. This essay is an attempt to provide a historical framework to the phenomenon and suggests some reflections.
