Abstract – The article we are presenting here is an attempt to reflect on the relationship between education and politics in the light of the numerous socio-historical transformations that seem to have rendered this relationship vain and out of date. However, despite the crisis of metaphysical thinking, the critique of the dialectic and the fragility of the contemporary individual, it seems necessary to return to thinking about a whole that restores a unitary vision of the subject-in-education, one that works for its education and not for its de-education. For an idea of education that recalls the old classical paideia that looked at the human being as a whole.
