Abstract

The contribution describes a flipped learning experience on number systems implemented in a first class of upper secondary school. The aim is to highlight the benefits and problems encountered by students, accustomed to a traditional education. To this purpose, we shall provide a detailed study of the educational design by analyzing the situations that came to be created, in order to arrive at more general reflections.
