Abstract

Abstract This paper aims to propose a reflection on orientation according to the most recent regulations that underline the need to support students in planning their future starting from an in-depth work of introspection aimed at a greater knowledge of themselves, personal desires and aspirations, to then allow them an evaluation of their skills and an adequate ability to choose. Only in this way it’s possible to activate an orientation that is not only informative but authentically formative. Teachers will not only have to inform about the training offers in place but above all to implement different skills in the students to guide them towards greater self-awareness. It is therefore necessary to have an in-depth specific preparation all teachers so that orientation is not just an episodic and marginal activity but accompanies students throughout the training course.
