Abstract – The debate on the introduction of new technologies into teaching practices has always been heated; nevertheless, with the advent of Artificial Intelligence, the figure of the teacher has been affected by major changes such that appropriate training is required. If until now the aid to learning processes in non-school spaces and times was provided by pure application of natural human effort, now, on the other hand, with the wide availability of automated learning resources and tools, students have the opportunity to use innovative algorithms and tools with great ease. In this article we want to focus on the new challenges to which teachers of different grades are called, exploring through a questionnaire their perceptions on the application of Artificial Intelligence as a tool to support study, and, in particular, in carrying out homework.
