Abstract – Ensuring inclusive learning contexts and thus improving the quality and equity of the Italian school system is one the urgent objectives of the national policy agenda. In order for this to be fully achieved, it is necessary to invest in the training and professional baggage and skills of school operators. This work intends to illustrate and discuss the main regulatory interventions on the subject, and to start a discussion on the reflective exercise of training as a search for an authentically inclusive professional action
