La crisi economica come “grande educatrice”. Una riflessione pedagogico-sociale sull’orientamento informale al lavoro nella contemporaneità

Abstract – Starting from the author's doctoral research in the field of social pedagogy, the article reflects on the topic of informal education at work in the contemporary world. On the basis of the empirical investigation carried out by interviewing precarious workers, focusing mainly but not exclusively on informal education, the contribution leads to reflect on how workers today experience a real form of ‘informal orientation’ with respect to their work biographies. The article attempts to critically reflect on a number of trends related to the crisis of subordinate employment, dwelling on both material and cultural data related to neoliberalism. Finally, the article focuses on some proposals for critical reflection concerning the role of democratic pedagogy with respect to informal orientation to work.
