Abstract

Abstract The research perspective employed aims to make explicit the educational implications of different forms of distress and to propose models of intervention. The research team decided to explore the topic about the sources of guidance, identified primarily in the family, school and peer group, by asking teens and young adults by whom and what they allow themselves to be addressed or accompanied by. The chosen target group is fourth- and fifth-year students from high schools located in the city center and suburbs of Naples. In contrast to an approach that defines guidance essentially by tools and techniques, or at most by the organization useful to enable and perhaps speed up choices, the main idea is to modify the relational approach, moving it away from transmissive dimensions and from protocols aimed only to know and detect characteristics, talents and propensities.
