Family-school Partnership has been an internationally well-established field of research since many years. In Italy, this theme has received attention starting from the XXI Century only. In order to add some elements to our understanding of how Italian parents and teachers articulate their discourse about family-school partnership, a "Comprehensive Institute" in Emilia Romagna Region has been studied. This longitudinal research was developed in 2010 through two focus groups (one with teachers and the other with parents of children in primary education); two more focus groups were conducted in 2018 with the same method. During the focus groups the partnership between family and school was debated, giving special attention to the role played by Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in its developments. The results show a general picture of continuity for what concens the issues of educational partnership, while massive introduction of ICTs seems to add some new critical elements in relation management.
