Ambiente: valore giuridico e valore educativo. Una prospettiva sinergica per la piena realizzazione di uno sviluppo sostenibile

Abstract

From the multilevel context of the sources of environmental law clearly emerges a substantially unitary perspective, in which the environment stands as primary and absolute legal value to be protected and which is matched by a duty of man and governments to protect it, on a plan of synergy between international environmental law, the European Union and national law. The environmental value also emerges from the notion of sustainable development. Even the most recent legal evolution in the international, European Union and national fields confirms the central role of environmental education and education for sustainable development. The two dimensions environment-legal value and environment-educational value can be considered as interacting and set in a synergistic perspective, fundamental push for the full realization of a sustainable development.
